They must have seen the negative remarks and changed some things. I went today to buy lunch. The young guy serving the food answered questions cheerfully. He as polite. Nothing at all rude about him. Pay attention to the more recent comments. This place is low-cost and the food is good. I love the egg drop soup. Call ahead if you want to check availability of a certain dish you would like. Today is Sunday and I went at 12:30 PM MDT. I wanted to try their Beef with Mushrooms. It was not available. I took the Beef with Broccoli, instead, and it is fine.
Food: 3.5, Value: 5, Service 4 This is our go-to Chinese take out place! Depending on the time of day the food does vary in quality, so I would definitely go during the busier times of the day where the food has more turnover. The "scoops" are about ~$2 each, but the portions are HUGE and they serve you way more than 1 scoop per $2 (3 "scoops" typically fills a standard white takeout container). We typically get the sesame chicken, jalapeño chicken and char siu (bbq pork), and for ~$6 we get a whole takeout container full of food! It only gets 4 stars because quality definitely varies based on the thing that you get and certain things are not great (such as their rice/lo mein and egg rolls). The food is not the best Chinese food I've had, but for the price you can't beat it!
Haha! I love reading these hater ass posts. Listen- I've been coming here for 10 years since they opened. I'm proud they're still in business. The owner is actually a very nice lady that is a good human, but yes she can be a bit testy and inpatient (she owns a business on Colfax in the worst part of town- what do you expect) It's not that hard to clean up after yourself and put the plates where they request. They are friendly If you're respectful and cheerful. Food is really good and for the price it's amazing! Quit hatingx
